SIMPLY UNIQUE
Grimm's toys are always unique, with unique traces of the natural material. With a few exceptions, everything is sanded and sawn by hand - this gives a different look than pure "machine work" and ensures the uniqueness of each piece. Grimm's uses alder, linden, beech and maple wood.
FSC
Grimm's is certified according to the FSC standard: the wood used comes from sustainable forestry in Europe. Woodworking is outsourced to small independent companies in Europe. The largest of these producers have learned their trade in Grimm's company in Germany. New products are developed at the company's headquarters and products are oiled, color-dipped, assembled, quality-checked, packaged and shipped around the world.
PAINTED BY HAND
All rainbow friends and decorative figures are hand painted and decorated with the most loving details. In assembly and packaging, Grimm's partly works with workshops for adults with special needs in Germany.
SAFE & HARMLESS
Grimm's designs durable toys whose simple and minimalist shapes, together with the beautiful colors and inviting feel, are suitable for all ages - products that inspire the game time and time again. All raw materials undergo quality testing in Germany before the end product is produced and packaged.
GRIMM'S COLORS
Both children and adults are attracted by the brilliant colors and beautiful wooden surfaces. The bright glaze and vegetable oils preserve the surface of the wood in structure and feel. The result is a typically rough yet velvety wood surface, which contributes to greater play value, especially for building blocks, as the individual pieces don't slip as easily. Grimm's uses enamel colors and vegetable oil for their products. The colors are water-based, non-toxic and saliva resistant. Naturally, all colors and oils are certified according to the European toy safety standard (EN 71).
All Grimm's toys are regularly tested and meet the European toy safety standard (EN 71) and the American standards.
